Scale labels

Scale labels are specially designed labels used in conjunction with scales or packing machines in supermarkets or food processing plants where products are weighed and priced. Therefore, in order to meet food safety standards, BMLE scale labels do not contain any migrating harmful substances that could affect the flavour, aroma, or safety of the packaged food.

Scale labels are manufactured from thermal (durable) paper. The material choice for scale labels depends on the requirements of the application, such as the nature of the product, packaging, exposure to moisture or variable temperatures (refrigerator, freezer, or oven), and the desired lifetime of the label. Personalisation with photos and a company logo is also possible. We can print from 1 to 12 colours.

BMLE supplies scale labels in various roll configurations, including core diameter, roll circumference, and label orientation (e.g. face-in or face-out). This makes them compatible with most labelling machines and printer systems, including Digi, Avery Berkel, Toshiba Tec, Bizerba, Mettler Toledo, Dibal, etc.
